El propósito de este ejercicio es analizar el fenómeno de la modernidad en la zona andina de Nariño en los primeros años del siglo XXI, a partir de una de sus dimensiones empíricas más importantes: la secularización. El método empleado para la recolección y análisis de lainformación es la revisión secundaria de estadísticas sociales. El estudio revela que la modernidad de esta región todavía es una modernidad parcial, una modernidad temprana o un tradicionalismo con tímidos destellos de modernidad.Downloads
