El presente ensayo establece una mirada sinóptica acerca de la dimensión de lamuerte en la tradición preislámica y el Islam Clásico. Para realizar tal tarea, se lleva a cabo un análisis de los elementos constituyentes de la tradición beduina, así como el papel que le corresponde a la muerte en ese mundo, por medio de su dimensión poética. Luego, se ingresa en las particularidades que revisten el martirio y la muerte suscitada por medio dela acción del Yihad en el Islam Clásico, indagando en las dimensiones políticas del concepto y en la escatología de la muerte.Downloads
