El optimismo del pensamiento moderno pronosticó el fin de la religión, considerándola un merofetiche de la ignorancia e incapacidad humana. Una mera ilusión que alienaba a las masas delmundo terrenal por una fantasía celeste. Sin embargo la religión logró capear las tormentas cientificistas hasta la década del sesenta del siglo XX. Paulatinamente la religión comenzó a servista como una institución humana que se vivificaba como nunca antes, trayendo esperanza, consuelo y confianza al ser humano ante los desencanto de la modernización incumplida de la política y la economía.Downloads
