En este artículo trataré de describir una importante característica del cristianismo y la religión en Asia, acerca de lo cual se ha escrito relativamente poco. Se ha descrito al Pentecostalismo comola religión mundial de más rápido crecimiento del siglo XX, habiendo crecido, en solo un siglo, en más de quinientos millones aquellos que se identificarían con él en alguna de sus diferentes formas: una estadística que ha sido muy usada, pero imposible de verificar. No obstante, su nivel de crecimiento mundial probablemente no tiene precedentes en la historia de las religiones y constituye una notable reacción a la modernidad.Downloads
