RELIGIÓN, CLASES DE HABITUS Y ECONOMÍA. UNA ETNOGRAFÍA A LAS EMPRESAS CRISTIANAS

Este artículo presenta el resultado de una investigación en curso sobre dos empresas cristianas en la ciudad de Córdoba (Argentina), una de transporte y otra gastronómica. La primera pertenece a una familia evangélica y la segunda a un grupo de creyentes católicos. El objetivo es analizar estos emprendimiento buscando identificar el tipo de hecho social que manifiestan y reconocer los procesos sociales que los envuelven. Postulamos que el testimonio es la eficaz estrategia de evangelización puesta en práctica en ambas empresas y focalizamos en la importancia de las clases de habitus que es posible trazar para ambos casos, tendiente a una lectura de las sociabilidades y de las condiciones sociales contrastivas que presentan. Entre otras propiedades simbólicas y sociales que diferencian a las empresas cristianas bajo foco, destacamos la acumulación económica como una variable sensible que nos lleva hacia la comprensión de la autonomía relativa y de la eficacia de ambos proyectos.
