Canonizaciones y moralidades en contextos de pobreza urbana. Las lógicas del orden y la transgresión en la Argentina de fines del siglo XX

Desde mediados de los años setenta y hasta el primer lustro del siglo XXI la argentina sufrió una profunda transformación en su estructura social, particularmente en los niveles y tipos de pobreza urbana. Las transformaciones del campo religioso acompañaron esos cambios, no como una respuesta mecánica a ellos, sino como reelaboraciones de sentido a partir de los cuales los sectores más afectados por la crisis buscaban resituarse frente a ella. Este trabajo compara el crecimiento de los ministerios pentecostales ocurridos al principio del proceso con la mayor presencia de devociones populares, sobre todo de jóvenes en conflicto con la ley, durante los años finales de este proceso justamente como puntos extremos de esas reelaboraciones de los sistemas de creencias de los sectores sociales más postergados.Downloads
