editorialAbstract
2020 is one of the most complex years that we have experienced in the last 50 years, both as a global society, as well as as individuals and as a family and work environment. Despite that, or because of that, it became more necessary to think and write, while taking care of ourselves. In the academic field, (self)care becomes unequal between men and women. Women academics not only dedicate themselves to the academic field from “home”, but also to “naturalized care”. On the other hand, we find academics who do not have jobs or have them in precarious conditions. There are also those who were overwhelmed with work, accompanying, even taking care of, their students.
