“La Cruz del Perú” es un breve, pero profundo estudio histórico y antropológico sobre una de las celebraciones cristianas más extendidas en la zona andina: la Fiesta de la Cruz. Según los autores, la particularidad de la figura de la cruz en los Andes dista mucho de ser aquél símbolo que la doctrina oficial católica se esfuerza en esculpir dogmáticamente. Más que el madero sagrado del cristianismo, se trataría de una “persona”, pues se le atribuyen deseos, pasiones, resentimientos y capacidades para bendecir/maldecir, como se hace con cualquier otro ser sobrenatural que puebla el espacio sagrado en los Andes.Downloads
