Posteriormente Christian Lalive D’Epinay enfoca las relaciones entre protestantismo y movilidad social, aspectos ecuménicos y una presentación de la teología de los pentecostales chilenos. Señala, como es característico de la sociología de los año 1960, los estudios de sociología de las minorías religiosas evangélicas en América Latina, sobre todo los pentecostales, han sido generalmente funcionalistas al centrar el análisis en la respuesta a la anomia producida por la modernización social. De esta manera los planteamientos teóricos estaría fuertemente imbricados en la sociología weberiana, marxista y funcionalista.Downloads
